Stone Turtle has so many whiskeys. It could be Nick Funke, the bar manager and owner of Stone Turtle’s mathematical economics degree. The selections are impressive both qualitatively and quantitatively, with over 100 options. There are bourbons, Scotch, Irish, American, and Rye options. Cellar House
The original wine shop and tasting room was small. Now it’s a full-scale restaurant and bar with a large patio and a huge selection of whiskeys. The bar boasts an extensive collection of bottles and a designated “whiskey wall”. The Bygone Age is a mix of whiskey, orange, calvados, and aquavit. It’s a combination of bourbon with citrus, aquavit, cassis rose, cardamom, and cassis. The sophisticated drink is a reflection of the elegant atmosphere. 5634 Telegraph.
Black Sheep
Black Sheep, which is owned by industry veterans Zach and Mary Rice, opened recently in the same area as Mama 2’s Biscuits and Mama 2’s Biscuits. This Southern-biscuit brunch spot was previously occupied by 3 Monkeys. There are more than 50 whiskey options on the carefully-curated menu, so there is something for everyone. Salt
Ballpark Village is the location with the most special-release whiskeys and harder-to-find whiskeys out of all five Salt + Smoke locations. This is due to a large number of tourists and businesspeople who live around the stadium. If there is high demand, then supply is also high when it comes to alcohol distribution. Jordan Greenwood, Salt + Smoke’s beverage manager, shared that they can purchase one-off bottles due to high demand. Blanton’s and WhistlePig are also popular.
